Human hair

There are many ways of applying human hair extensions. The method I have used over the last 16 years is to bond the extension hair with a special keratin based bonding "glue" in small 1/4" sections slightly away from the scalp. The bond looks like a small grain of rice and is strong enough to stay in the hair for 2-4 months (depending on the hair chosen) but comes out of the hair easily.  Your own hair is allowed to grow underneath and the extensions are easy to look after like your own hair. It can be blow dried, scrunched, tonged, straightened and set on heated rollers. Human hair comes in many lengths from 16"-22" and in straight, slightly waved, wavy and curly textures. I use different hair textures depending on your own hair type and what you are trying to achieve. I will advise you of the best hair for you. The hair comes in all natural colours from black up to the whitest blonde and some permanent bright colours such as blue, red, pink, peach and purple.

If you have worn human hair extensions before and have found they shed loads while you wear them and then taking them out is painful and breaks your hair, try Cinderella pre-bonded human hair extensions. I use them for most of my clients. This is more expensive than the aisan hair but lasts the full 3/4 months in perfect condition and is worth it if you wear extensions a lot. The removal is so fast it's amazing, even after 3-4 months of wear, the bonds just crumble to powder and are removed painlessly and with no damage to your own hair. I also use top quality remi human hair for a cheaper option. This will generally last 2-3 months. Included in the price is all cutting, styling and a free 6 week check-up and maintenance appointment.

For a more temporary look using human hair bonded in wefts are the way to go. They last 1-3 weeks and the hair can be re-used a few times. Fairly quick to apply and quick to remove, they are perfect for a party or a quick fix and the hair can be re-used a few times.
